Red Jalapeno Salsa

* THE SALSA *

Made from our own recipe, using Jalapenos and Aji Limon chillies we grew and harvested ourselves and fermented using the same method as our hot sauces. The Red Jalapenos bring an earthy flavour with a slight sourness while the Ajis bring flavours of citrus and pepper as well as some heat. These wonderful chillies combine with our mix of dried herbs and spices to create an intense, spicy Salsa that can be served straight out of the jar or added to your own freshly made Salsa or used as an ingredient in Chillies, Curries and anywhere you'd like more spice.

* THE PROCESS *

All of our products are fermented using modern processes and equipment. Fermentation is a method of food preservation and preparation that has been used by cultures all over the world since ancient times. It is a process where naturally-occurring microorganisms convert nutrients in foods into delicious new forms - in our case creating a richer, more complex sauce from the fresh ingredients we use. Hot sauces like Tabasco and Sriracha and foods like sauerkraut and kimchi are all made using variations of this method.

* PRODUCT INFO *

- Jar: 125mL
- Heat: Low to medium heat - as much spicy as hot and similar to hotter Salsa's you'll find served in traditional Mexican taquerias.
- Ingredients: Chillies (5,000-50,000 Scoville Heat Units), Bell Peppers, Shallots, Garlic, Spices, Salt, Water, Love.
- Storage: Refrigerate after opening. Stir before use. Use within 3 months.

- EU Customers: Orders shipped to the EU are subject to VAT at your local rate plus local postal service handling fees.
