Spicy Tomato Ketchup
* THE SAUCE *
This is our take on a classic tomato ketchup. We've combined the best traditional ingredients with just enough of our home-grown chillies to give it some spice then fermented it using our tried and tested method. The organic sun-dried tomatoes and red peppers give it a slight sweetness while the mix of spices gives it that classic tomato sauce richness and depth. We're big fans of red and brown sauce and this has been put through all the vital testing with great results. Chip butties, eggy muffins, fish finger sarnies and sausages both meat and plant-based - they'll love you for this.
* THE PROCESS *
All of our products are fermented using modern processes and equipment. Fermentation is a method of food preservation and preparation that has been used by cultures all over the world since ancient times. It is a process where naturally-occurring microorganisms convert nutrients in foods into delicious new forms - in our case creating a richer, more complex sauce from the fresh ingredients we use. Hot sauces like Tabasco and Sriracha and foods like sauerkraut and kimchi are all made using variations of this method.
* PRODUCT INFO *
- Jar: 150mL
- Heat: This is a nice spicy sauce. It has just enough going on to enhance the flavour of whatever it is you put it on.
- Ingredients: Sundried Tomatoes, Red Bell Peppers, Shallots, Garlic, Ginger, Chillies, Honey, Spices, Salt, Water, Love.
- Storage: Refrigerate after opening. Shake before use. Use within 3 months.
